ENERGY EFFICIENCYE
Consuming our ice is better for the environment and for the CO2 footprint. Our ice production system is much more efficient than machines in bars or ice made at home. Each kilo of ice packed by us consumes three times less electricity. It should also be borne in mind that packaged ice works like a battery (it reduces the consumption of freezers where it is stored).
Machines in bars: 0.4 kwh/kg
Household freezers: 0.5 kwh/kg
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENTE
Renewable energy
A significant percentage of the electricity we consume is generated by solar energy, through the use of panels mounted on the roofs of our factories.
Organic refrigerants
The ammonia used in our manufacturing plants is a natural refrigerant that does not damage the ozone layer or contribute to global warming and also has greater energy efficiency.
100% recyclable
Our packaging is made of low-density polyethylene, completely recyclable.
Water saving
By means of a new proprietary system, the excess water from the process is used to cool the refrigeration systems, thus contributing to greater energy efficiency.
Low waste generation
Our industry does not produce hazardous waste for the environment. We follow demanding regulations for recycling of paper, cardboard, plastic, toners and other consumables.
We collaborate with environmental NGOs
Environmental ISO
We follow all the specifications of the environmental ISO 14.001 and 50.001 norms.
